How do I transfer a domain away?
Unlock the domain, get the auth code from Security tab, provide it to your new registrar. Approve the transfer email when received.
Step-by-step guide
- Unlock the domain. Disable transfer lock in Dashboard → Domains → Security for the domain.
- Copy the auth code. View and copy the EPP authorization code from the Security tab.
- Submit the transfer at the new registrar. Provide the domain name and auth code when initiating an inbound transfer elsewhere.
- Approve the transfer confirmation. Watch for approval emails and confirm the outbound transfer within the allowed window.
