    Account Deletion

    1. Overview

    You can request deletion of your RollDomains account and associated personal data at any time. This page is the official account-deletion instruction URL for RollDomains (including for Sign in with Google / Apple / GitHub / Microsoft verification). Deletion is processed by our privacy team after we verify that the request comes from the account owner.

    2. How to request deletion

    Email privacy@rolldomains.com from the email address on your account with the subject line "Account deletion request". Include: (1) the email address of the account to delete; (2) confirmation that you want the account and personal data deleted; (3) any open domains or services you need transferred or cancelled first. You may also open a support ticket at rolldomains.com/contact or support@rolldomains.com with the same details. We may ask you to complete a short identity check (for example, confirming a one-time code) before deleting data.

    3. What we delete

    After verification we delete or irreversibly anonymize account profile data (name, email, phone, billing contact details stored for your user), authentication credentials and linked social login identifiers, wallet balances that are not required for outstanding legal obligations, support tickets and messages where feasible, and marketing preferences. Active sessions and API tokens for the account are revoked.

    4. What we may retain

    Some records cannot be fully erased immediately because of law or registry rules: domain registration / WHOIS-related records for the life of the registration plus retention periods required by ICANN or the applicable registry (often several years); invoices, tax, and payment records (typically up to 7 years); security, fraud, and abuse logs for a limited period; and data we must keep to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Retained data is restricted and not used for marketing.

    5. Domains and paid services before deletion

    Deleting your account does not automatically cancel or transfer domain names still registered to you. Before you request deletion, renew, transfer away, or explicitly authorize cancellation of domains and other paid services you no longer need. If domains remain under our registrar after account deletion, we may retain registrant data required to service those domains until they expire or are transferred.

    6. Social sign-in (Google, Apple, GitHub, Microsoft)

    If you signed up or linked a social login, requesting account deletion on RollDomains removes our copy of your account and the link to that provider. It does not delete your Google, Apple, GitHub, or Microsoft account itself. You can also revoke RollDomains access from each provider's security / connected-apps settings.

    7. Timeline

    We acknowledge deletion requests within a few business days and complete deletion within 30 days where legally permitted, sooner when practical. If legal retention applies to part of your data, we will tell you what remains and why.
